ABOUT THIS SPACE

The Old Post Office is a cosy Cumbrian cottage located in the coastal village of Sandwith, close to Whitehaven and The Lake District. Sandwith is on the Coast to Coast Walk. The cottage has everything for a perfect lakes holiday. A double bedroom, one king, and bunk beds. There are two reception rooms, one with a beautiful open fire, stylish new kitchen, dining area and two bathrooms. Outside there is plenty of space with patio areas for outdoor dining and the large hot tub set in a private area.

The Old Post Office was originally the village post office, prior to that it was the White Horse Inn. The house still has the original post office safe. There are two parking spaces on the front drive. In the rear garden there are three seating areas. Right outside the back door is a small sheltered area with bistro table. Up the steps there is another area with a large pub style table for dining. At the top of the garden is the patio area with hot tub in the pergola. The back gate provides direct access to a rear lane which then takes you on to the coast to coast route and access to the Cumbria coastal way, St Bees lighthouse and the heritage coast RSPB nature reserve.

GUEST ACCESS

Guests have sole use of the two parking spaces on the drive, the rear garden with patio and hot tub, and conservatory.
